HomeMy Public PortalAbout07-28-2022 THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND,INDIANA, JULY 28,2022 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5:00 P.M., in the Council Chambers in the Municipal Building, 50 North 5th Street, Richmond, Indiana. CALL TO ORDER President Robinson called the meeting to order and the following business was conducted: ROLL CALL Board members present were: Vicki Robinson and Matt Evans. Absent was Emily Palmer. Also in attendance were Kim Vessels,Assistant City Attorney; Monica Burns,Deputy City Clerk; Fire Chief Jerry Purcell; Tracy Bosell, Street Commissioner; and Media. APPROVAL OF MINUTES JULY 21,2022 Mr. Evans moved to approve the minutes of July 21, 2022, supported by Ms. Robinson. Upon a vote viva voce,the motion carried. Board of Works Minutes July 28,2022 BID OPENINGS -None BID AWARDS -None CONTRACTS • CONTRACT NO. 110-2022 - BARNHEIZER AND ASSOCIATES City retains Contractor to provide services to clean the air ducts at Fire Station No. 4 for the Fire Department. Not to exceed $ 177.95 Mr. Evans moved to approve, supported by Ms. Robinson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. • CONTRACT NO. 114-2022—LUTRA ADVENTURES City retains Contractor to furnish and provide various pieces of dive equipment for the Dive Team for the Fire Department. Not to exceed $25,760.62 Mr. Evans moved to approve, supported by Ms. Robinson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. • CONTRACT NO. 117-2022—PAVEMENT SOLUTIONS,LLC To conduct pavement crack sealing services for Street Department for the 2022 season. Not to exceed$130,149.00 Mr. Evans moved to approve, supported by Ms. Robinson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. • CONTRACT NO. 118-2022—BOBCAT OF ANDERSON For the purchase of a 40" cold planer for milling asphalt. Not to exceed $27,250.00 Mr. Evans moved to approve, supported by Ms. Robinson. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried. • CONTRACT NO. 119-2022—KAM HYDRAULICS For the purchase of a 14,000 lb. 4-post truck lift Not to exceed $19,765.99 Board of Works Minutes July 28,2022 Mr. Evans moved to approve, supported by Ms. Robinson.
