Discussion and Vote on Harris Custom Builders Renewal Amy has no issues with this application , Roberta asked about how septic is responsibility of the landlord , how do we handle this ? Amy said she doesn ' t know how far back this goes in our records , Ultimately , we need to change the Bylaw to better reflect the ' needs as most appropriate for these properties , As she see it , at this point , if her office hasn 't received any reports that the septic has an issue , she interprets that as the property not having any issues , The 'Statement on this application would indicate to her that the landlord is responsible for any pum ping or maintenance that may be needed , Cyndi asked if that' s something we are looking to address in the future . Amy said she thinks that is a good discussion going forward , as some rental leases require the occupant be responsible for water I WQRC Meeting Minutes 3�26w2021 bills , electric bills , septic repair or work done to the facility , and other leases , the landlord is responsible for everything . It is worth a discussion on how it ultimately plays out . She said her office finds out pretty quickly if a septic isn ' t working properly , so that is why she isn ' t super concerned about changing the policy or Bylaw . If anything , that will be the first thing that will get tackled if there is a problem with it , just by the nature of it . They are the first ones called and it happens quickly .
