THE CITY OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS
ORDINANCE NO. 3<53
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND INCORPORATING
CERTAIN LAND WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY
OF BEL AIRE, KANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF BEL AIRE,
KANSAS:
Section 1. Annexation
The tollowing described land, including adjacent rights-ot-way, that abuts property
which is within the corporate limits ot the City ot Bel Aire, Kansas, comes to the City ot Bel
Aire tor annexation upon the written consent tor annexation by its owners, and theretore
meets one or more ot the conditions tor annexation prescribed in K.S.A. 12-520, is hereby
annexed and incorporated within the corporate limits ot the City ot Bel Aire, Kansas, to-wit:
A tract ot land legally described as the Northwest Quarter, the
Northeast Quarter and the East halt ot the Southeast Quarter
ot Section 19, Township 26 South, Range 2 East ot the 6th
P.M., Sedgwick County, Kansas, including the tollowing
adjacent rights-ot-way, to-wit:
The roadway and adjacent rights-ot-way on the East and West
ot said roadway ot Woodlawn Street located in Sedgwick
County, Kansas, commencing at the Southwest corner ot the
Northwest Quarter ot Section 19, Township 26 South, Range
2 East otthe 6th P.M., Sedgwick County, Kansas then running
northerly to the North right-ot-way line 53rd Street North Street;
The roadway and adjacent rights-ot-way on the North and
South ot said roadway ot 53rd Street North located in
Sedgwick County, Kansas, between the West right-ot-way line
ot Woodlawn Street and the East right-ot-way line ot Rock
Road;

The roadway and adjacent rights-ot-way on the East and West
ot said roadway ot Rock Road located in Sedgwick County,
Kansas, between the North right-ot-way line ot 53rd Street
North Street and the North right-ot-way line ot 45th Street
North; and
The North halt ot the roadway and adjacent right-ot-way on the
North ot said roadway ot 45th Street North located in Sedgwick
County, Kansas, commencing at the East right-ot-way line ot
Rock Road then running westerly to the Southwest corner ot
the East haltotthe Southeast Quarter ot Section 19, Township
26 South, Range 2 East ot the 6th P.M., Sedgwick County,
Kansas.
Section 2. Effective Date
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in torce trom and after its publication in the
official city newspaper.
