FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 1957 • The Board of Public Works & Safety met in regular session in City Hall with City Controller Wilson presiding. All members present. The minutes of the previous meeting dispensed with. The following business was had, to-wit; Assessment Roll 1008-1956 (curb,gutters & sidewalks on S.6th St.,from "0" to "Q" given preliminary approval by Board) The Clerk was instructed to set a date for -s, public hearing. The Clerk was instructed to notify the Light Plant to move the street light at the entrance to the new parking lot on North 5th St. Lloyd Bromagen, S.16th & "L" St., appeared and complained about water in that areas He was informed the Board and City has plans for cleaning out the drainage ditches that vicinity and that this ditch would then take care of excess water. The Board set the following hours for City Hall employees effective l2 1-57; Monday through Friday m 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Saturday ® 8:30 AM to 12:00 noon The Board unaminously approved a curb cut at North 12th St, north of "A" for a driveway for the Wayne County Museum. - The Board received a petition for street lights in theaarea of Beals First Ad- dition and the Lin®kay Addition. This was referred to the Light Plant for re- commendation and cost estimate. The Board approved installation of a "NO TRUCKS ALLOWED" sign in the alley at the south side of the Standard Market at W. 5th & Main St. City Controller Wilson moved that Improvement Res. 1015-1957 be adopted, curb, gutter and sidesalks on S. 7th from "0" ,o "Q".
