The Board of Public Works & Safety met in. regular session in City Hall, with City Con-
troller Wilson presiding. All members present. Minutes dispensed with.-The, following
business was had, to-wit;
The Clerk presented proofs of publication that this date had been set to receive bids
for boring and installing a 12" sanitary sewer under East Main (US 40) at 34th St. One
bid was received: Kramer Brothers, Eaton,Ohio, in the amount of $1532.00. City
Engineer Beuker moved this bid be taken under advisement. Seconded by City Controller
Wilson.

Police Chief Mitrione recommended two hour parking meters for North and South llth St.
from North "A" to South "A", except. in front of 23 N.• llth- St. City Controller Wilson
moved these meters be installed. Seconded by City Engineer Deuker.
The Board was informed that the City Cab Co. had, -at 17 S.6th St,, eliminated a drive
into their building and thus created a parking space on the street. The Board unaminv
ously approved the installation of one (1) parking meter at the north end of the yellow
curb at this address, that the curb be painted white at the meter, and the remainder of
the curb south bo the alley be yellow for use by the cab company.
The Board unaminousiy approved the installation of a canopy and teller window on North
7th Street in the First National Bank. Said canopy to conform with all City regulations.
The Clerk announced hearings on Assessments Rolls 1006-1956 and 1009-1956 would be
held on October 4.1957.
There being no further business the meeting adjourned.
