AMENDING THE CITY OF HOPKINSVILLE, KENTUCKY, ANNUAL CAPITAL EQUIPMENT
AND PROPERTY REPLACEMENT BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2019 THROUGH
JUNE 30, 2020 BY ESTIMATING REVENUES AND RESOURCES AND APPROPRIATING
FUNDS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HOPKINSVILLE, KENTUCKY AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE
The Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Capital Equipment and Property Replacement Budget of the
City of Hopkinsville amended by Ordinance 30-2019 is hereby amended as follows:
REVENUES
Transfer from General Fund
Additional Transfer from General Fund -WINS
Transfer from General Fund-LDC
Transfer from General Fund -Pavement Markings
Transfer from TIF Fund
Prior Year Revenue

The Mayor and/or City Administrative Officer are hereby authorized to enter into any
contracts or agreements necessary to acquire capital equipment or services within the
allocations listed in this ordinance.
SECTION THREE
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, or phrase of this ordinance is for any
reason held unconstitutional or otherwise invalid, such infirmities shall not affect the validity of
the remaining portions of this ordinance.

SECTION FOUR
Any and all existing ordinances inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION FIVE
This ordinance shall take effect after its passage and publication according to law.
