ARTICLE I
Sec. 2-4 AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE FISCAL YEAR FOR THE
VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD
WHEREAS the current fiscal year for the Village of
Plainfield commences on the 1ST day of July and ends on the
30TH day of June the following year,
WHEREAS it is in the best interest and the desire of the
President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Plainfield
to adopt a new fiscal year commencing on May 1ST and ending
on the 30TH day of April of the following year;
WHEREAS it is the desire of the President and Board of
Trustees that the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1989 will
end April 30, 1990 and that the subsequent fiscal year begin
on May 1, 1990 and end on April 30, 1991;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD AS FOLLOWS:
Sec. I. That the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1989 will
end April 30, 1990.
Sec. II. That the subsequent fiscal year shall begin on May
1, 1990 and. end on April 30, 1991, and that for all
subsequent years the fiscal year shall begin on May
1ST and end on April 30TH of the following year;
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication, according to
law.
This Ordinance shall be numbered as Ordinance No. _1252
Passed this 15th day of Mav, 1989.
