AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE
• REZONING A PORTION OF THE SUBDIVISION
KNOWN AS "P,RETLAND RIDGE"
WHEREAS, an Ordinance titled An Ordinance Rezoning a Portion of the Subdivision
Known as "Brelland Ridge " was passed on August 13, 1996, by Common Council of the City of
Greencastle: and
WHEREAS, the legal description contained in that Ordinance was inaccurate and the
legal description set out below is the correct legal description for the property approved by the
Greencastle Plan Commission in 1996.
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED that the legal description contained in An Ordinance
Rezoning a Portion of the Subdivision Known as `Bretland Ridge ", rezoning the property from
R -2 to R -P, is hereby amended and shall read as follows:
Situate in the State of Indiana, County of Putnam and being a part of the
Southeast quarter of Section 15, "Township 14 North, Range 4 West of the Second
Principal Meridian, more particularly described to -wit:
Commencing at a brass rod marking the Southeast corner of the Southeast quarter
• of Section 15, Township 14 North, Range 4 West; thence North 00 degrees 05
minutes 38 seconds West 1580.45 feet with the East line of said Southeast quarter
to PK nail marking the centerline of Round Barn Road; thence South 89 degrees
20 minutes 54 seconds West 30 feet to a 5/8 diameter rebar with a cap marking
the existing Northeast corner of Lot A and the true point of beginning of the real
estate described herein; thence South 00 degrees 05 minutes 38 seconds East
184.68 feet to a 5/8" diameter rebar with cap marking the existing Southeast
corner of Lot A; thence South 89 degrees 15 minutes 08 seconds West 195.00 feet
to a point on the South line of the drainage easement; thence North 00 degrees 05
minutes 38 seconds West 185.04 feet to a point on the North line of the drainage
easement; thence North 89 degrees 20 minutes 54 seconds East 195.00 feet to the
point of beginning containing .83 acres, more or less.
All remaining provisions contained in the original Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect.
