AND SAFETY, RICHMOND, INDI.ANA
FRIDAY, MARCH 15, 1957
The, B®ardt•of Public Works and Safety met in regular session in City Hall with
City Controller Wilson presiding. All members present. The following business
was had, to-wit;
Minutes dispensed with.
City Controller Wilson moved that the bid for the automobile for use by the Detective
Bureau be awarded to Dea Meadows Ford Sales, for $1350.00. Seconded by City Attorney
Cecere.
City Attorney Cecere moved to award the bid on Improvement Resolution 1012-1956 to
Mike Delucio & Son for $3151.20. Seconded by City Controller Wilson.

City Attorney Cecere moved to award the bid on. Improvement Resolution 1013-1956 to
the Debolt Concrete Company for $9996.00. Seconded by City Controller Wilson.
The Board unaminously approved a request of the Good Oil Company to move a frame
building from 1233 S. 9th St. to 1433 S. 10th St.. Said building to be moved across
South "M" St.
City Attorney Cecere moved that water mains be extended south from South "M" Street
in 15th & 16th Street to the ends of said streets and that hydrants be placed at the
present ends of 15th and 16th. Seconded by City Engineer Deuker.
Council President Salzarulo presented a petition for a street light at 17th & North
"J" Street. The Clerk was instructed to secure an estimate for this installation.
Council President Salzarulo also presented a petition from residents of North 22nd St.
asking that trucks be prohibited from using said street.
The Board instructed Assistant Police Chief Conyers to investigate the cost of re-
suscitators for use in the Police crusier-ambulances, and to report findings to the
Board.
The Board took under advisement a request of Dea Meadows to cut a curb on South 5th
Street betweeh "H" and "I" Streets. Said cut to be for a distance of 3001 .
The Board authorized the closing of North "C" Street from 6th to 7th by use of
barricades, and the closing of the alley extending south from North "C" by the same
means.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned.
