Mayor Roland Cutter
City Building
Richmond, Indiana
Dear Mayor Cutter:
Because operation of Civil Defense depends on good amateur short wave
transmission under the government sponsored RACES plan, we would like per-
mission to install another radio mast antenna atop the city building-assuring
ourselves of the use of two channels in Wayne County.
This interferes in no way with police or fire department transmission
or reception-®in. fact it will probably be installed with their help.
Civil Defense has sufficient funds, by use of the Federal matching
set-up, to pay for this material and the radio amateurs do the work.
Thanks for your fine cooperation in the past.
Sincerely,
is/ John Edwards, Director
