FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 1955 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in its office in the City Hall in said City, Friday, September 30, 1955, at the hour of 8:00 o' clock A.M. (CST) . Mr. Coleman presiding with the following members being present: Mr. Deuker and Mr. Chambers. The following business was had, to-wit: On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the minutes of the previous meeting were dispensed with. II The Clerk presented proofs of publication printed in the Richmond Palladium-Item, a newspaper, on the dates of September 6th and 13th, 1955, that a public hearing would be held on this date for Improvement Resolution No. 1001-1955 ( for the pavement of an alley between North 15th and North 16th from North "B" to North "C" Streets) . The proofs were ordered filed. A remonstrance was filed and after the City Engineer checked both the petition and remonstrance the Board now finds the remonstrators in majority. On motion made, seconded and carried, the Board now re- jects further action on Improvement Resolution No. 1001-1955. Improvement Resolution No. 1000-1955 (Curb, gutter and sidewalks on Harris Street from N.W. "J" to N.W. "K" Streets) was further taken under advisement for the checking of names and property owners. On recommendation of the Mayor the Board took under advisement the following Resolution: RESOLUTION WHEREAS, parking of vehicles on the Williamsburg Pike be- tween Northwest "N" Street and the Pennsylvania Railroad cross- ing of said Pike north of said Northwest "N" Street in the City of Richmond, Indiana endangers public safety and interferes with II the free movement of traffic, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, .INDIANA that no parking is or shall be permitted along the south side of the Williamsburg Pike in the City of Richmond, Indiana, at the following locations: Between a point 15 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 100 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 125 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 225 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 250 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 335 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 365 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 395 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 4L5 feet east of the east right of way line II of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 54.5 feet east of said. right of way line; Between a point S70 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 64.5 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 700 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 800 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 825 feet east of the east right of way line — of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 925 feet east of said right of way line; c A 4 Between a point 950 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 1050 feet east of taid right of way line; • Between a point 1075 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 1160 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 1215 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 1315 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 134.0 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 1440 feet east of said. right of way line; Between a point 1465 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 1565 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 1590 feet east of the east right of way 'line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 1690 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 1715 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 1815 feet east of said right of way line; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA that no parking is or shall be permitted along the north side of the Williamsburg Pike in the City of Richmond, Indiana at the following locations: Between a point 20 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 70 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 100 feet east of the east right of way line I/ of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 200 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 225 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 325 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 350 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 400 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 450 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 550 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 575 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 675 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 725 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 825 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 850 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 950 feet east of said right of way line; Between a point 975 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 1075 feet east of the said right of way line; Between a point 1100 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 1200 feet east of the said right of way line; Between a point 1225 feet east of the east right of way line of the Pennsylvania Railroad and a point 1325 feet east of said right of way line; Claims in the amount of $8,305.26 were allowed.
