SAFETY IN SPECIAL SESSION, RICHMOND, INDIANA.
MONDAY, JANUARY 17, 1955.
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Ind iana,
met in Special Session in its office in the City Hall in said City,
Monday, January 17, 1955, at the hour of 1: 00 o' clock P.M. (CST) . Mr.
Coleman presiding with the following members being present: Mr. Hodgin
and Mr. Chambers. The following business was had, to-wit:
Mr. Coleman, President, stated that this meeting was called for final
action on the matter taken under advisement .on January 14, 1955.
Mr. Harvey Noble, fireman on the Richmond Fire Department, was ad-
vised by this body that he was to be suspended from the Richmond
Fire Department from January 11, 1955 until and including February 10,
1955 on the charge of Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication on
the date of January 8, 1955.
Mr. Joseph Brennan, fireman on the Richmond Fire Department, was ad-
vised by this body that he was to be suspended from the Richmond
Fire Department from January 11, 1955 until and including January 31,
1955 on the charge of Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication on
the date of January 8, 1955.
Both of the above men expressed their thanks to the Board for their
consideration and promised that this would never happen again while
they were a member of the Richmond Fire .Department.
There being no further business presented on motion duly made, se-
conded and carried, the meeting adjourned.
