Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in its office in the City Hall in said. City, Friday, November 26, 1954, at the hour of 8: 00 o' clock A. M. ( CST) . Mr. H'odgin' presiding with the following member being present: Mr. Chambers. Mr. Coleman being absent. The following business was had, to-wit: On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the minutes of the previous meeting were dispensed with. Mr. Byram Robbins, attorney for residents on South 18th Street from Main to South "A" Street, appeared before the Board along with several residents of said area and expressed their opinion on the action taken by the Board at the last meeting. After much discussion the Board told them it was only a temporary arrangement and that it it worked a hardship on anyone the plans could be revised in the future. The Board ordered the Clerk to prepare advertisement per plans and specifications as submitted by the City Engineer for two (2). new front doors at the City Building. The bids to be received December 17, 1954 at 8: 00 o' clock A.M. (CST) . Claims in the amount of $28, 270. 18 were allowed.
