Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met, in regular session in its office in the City Hall in said City, Friday, November 19, 1954, • at the hour of 9: 00 o' clock A.M. ( CST) .- , Mr. Coleman. presiding. with the following members being present: Mr. Hodgin and Mr. Chambers. The following business was had, to-wit: On motion duly. made, seconded and carried, the minutes of the previous meeting were dispensed with. Tom Bell, owner of a filling station located at 5th and North "A" Street, appeared at request of Capt. Juerling relative to flasher light on his premises. . Capt. Juerling and Tom Bell to consult relative to relocation of flasher light. On recommendation of Chief Rohe, purchase of one .(1) Ford and two ( 2) Chevrolets on basis of bids presented November 5, 1954. One way East on South "A" from South 16th to South 18th Streets. One way North on South 18th from South side of South "A" , extended East to the East line of South 18th Street, to Main Street. Authorized stop signs to be placed on South 18th where South "A" enters from the west and intersects South "A" Street. Also a stop sign on South "A" Street where South "A" enters from the East and intersects South 18th Street. Establish truck route for trucks when proceeding East on South "A" Street to turn left and proceed North on South 16th Street and not to proceed East on South "A" Street between South 16th and South 18th Street-. No change is to be made in parking regulations on South 18th Street. This to take effect when necessary signs are available and installed. Three ( 3) parking meters ordered 'removed in front of Dea Meadows Ford Agency at 29 North 9th Street. "No Parking" signs to be installed on south side of North "B" Street from North 8th to North 9th Streets. I/ . The Board authorized the installation of electric stop signals at South 5th and "B" Streets. The Board allowed a curb cut at 1214 South "L" Street for driveway. Claims in the amount of 012, 613. 62 were allowed. There being no further business presented on motion duly made, se- conded and carried, the meeting adjourned. • Clairman Attest: _ City 1 rk .
