AND SAFETY, RICHMOND, INDIANA.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 15, 1954.
The Board_ of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session in its office in the City Hall in said City,
Friday, October. 15, 1954, at the hour of 9:00 o' clock A.M. (CST) . Mr.
Coleman. presiding with the following members being present: Mr. Hodgin
and Mr. Chambers. The following business was had, to-wit:
On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the minutes of the previous
meeting were dispensed with.
The Board desired that it go on record that thanks be given to all
department heads and their personel for the efficient aid given in
clearing up the debris that was caused by the recent rain and wind
storm.
On motion duly made , seconded and carried, the Board unanimously
approved the following:
Richmond, Ind.
October 15, 1954.

Gentlemen:
After having served twenty five years on the Richmond Fire
Dept,
I hereby submit my resignation taking effect as of Octover 16th,
1954.

The Board rejected the request of the Wick Auto Sales, Inc. to cut
the curb at 510 North °A" Street..
The Board took under advisement the following request for the Gilcrest,
Brown and Rhoades Auto Sales to stage a parade with a sound wagon on
November 17, 1954.
Claims in the amount of $53, 607. 60 were allowed.
There being no further business presented on motion duly made, se-
conded and carried, the meeting adjourned.
