The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session in its office in the City Hall in said City,
Friday, January 22, 1954, at the hour of 9 ::00 o' clock A.M. ( CST) . '
Mr. Coleman presiding with the following members being present: Mr.
Hodgin and Mr. Chambers. The following business was had, to-wit:

On motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried the minutes of
the previous meeting were dispensed with.
Everett Eastman presented a petition signed by property owners re-
questing a resolution for the construction of concrete sidewalks,
curbs and gutters on both sides of N.W. 17th Street, between a point
55 feet south of N.W. "B" Street north to Peacock Road. This was re-
ferr•ed to the City Engineer for preparation of a resolution to do the
work.

The Board took under advisement the request of the Light Plant Committee
to sell the vacated lot at North 15th and "J" Streets.
The Board authorized the:_installation of street lights at the follow-
ing location: On. North "C" Street between North 13th and 14th Streets:
On North 13th Street, between North "G" and "H" Streets, and on
North 14th Street, between North "G" and "H" Streets.
The claims in the amount of. $3064.88 were allowed.
