AND SAFETY, RICHMOND, INDIANA.
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 18, 1953
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session in its office in the City Hall in said City,
Friday, December 18, 1953, at the hour of 9:00 o' clock A.M. (CST) .
Mr. - Coleman presiding with the following members being present: Mr.
Hodgin and Mr. Haworth. The following business was had, to-wit:
On motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried the minutes of
the previous meeting were dispensed with. _
On recommendation of the Fire Chief, the Board unanimously approved
increasing the rate for fire runs outside of the City Limits from
$50.00. to .$75. 00 to be effective January 1, 1954. The rate per hour
' to be, the same $25.00.
The Board ordered a four-way stop flasher type traffic signal to -0;e
installed at the intersection of Peacock Road and N.W. 18th Streets.
The Light Plant to be advised of this action.
The Board unanimously adopted Preliminary Assessment Roll No. 969-
1953 and advised the Clerk to prepare the advertisement for a public
hearing. V
,The City Engineer reported that the plans and specification for
Improvement Resolution No. 973-1953 had been revised. The Board
ordered the Clerk to prepare the advertisement for a public hearing
on said Improvement Resolution.
The next meeting to be held on December 24, 1953 instead of Friday
December 25, 1953. V
Claims in the amount of $3516.52 were allowed.
There being no further business presented on motion duly made, se- .
conded and carried, the meeting adjourned.
