The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in its office in the City Hall in said City, Friday, March 27, 1953, at the hour of 9: 00 o.° clock A.M. (CST) . Mr. Coleman presiding with the following members being present: Mr. Hodgin and Mr. Haworth. The following business was had, to-wit: On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the minutes of the previous meeting were 'dispensed with. On recommendation of the Chief of Police the board unanimously approved the advancement of Paul Martin, who has served the required one year probationary patrolman, to that of regular patrolman as of April 1, 1953. 'The following report of the Animal Welfare League, Inc. was received and ordered filed: Disbursement of $500.00 from Civil City By Animal Welfare League, Inc. For First Quarter, Jan. ,. The Board approved the Clerk of notifying the State Highway Commision that the four (4) way flas1ar lights as recommended by said commission was unanimously approved by this Board.
