AND SAFETY, RICHMOND, INDIANA.
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 26, 1952.

The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session in its office in the City Hall in said City, Friday,
. December 26, 1952, at the hour of 9:00 o' clock A.M. (CST) . Mr. Coleman
presiding with the following members present: Mr. Hodgin and Mr. Haworth.
The following business was had, to-wit:
On motion duly made, seconded and carried, the- minutes of the previous
meeting were dispensed with.

On recommendation of the Chief of Police, the Board unanimously approved
the advancement of Officer Dan Mitrione from the rank of a patrolman to
that of a Captain as of January 1, 1953.
On motion duly made, seconed and carried, the bids that were received
for parking meters for the Market House lot were rejected. . •
On recommendation of the Fire Chief the Board unanimously approved the
installation of approximately 1200 feet of six* inch or more water main
and two fire hydrants in the Traver' s Park Terrace Addition to the City
of Richmond to serve as fire protection for said area. The Clerk to
notify the Richmond Water Works Corporation of this action.
The Board selected Mr. Coleman for President for the year 1953.
The Board allowed the claime in the sum of $27, 122.23.
There being no further business presented on motion duly made, seconded
and carried, the meeting adjourned.
