On my way off Tybee today, I received a notice of penalties and interest due from my
hotel/motel tax. The payment is due Feb 13. I would like to appeal at the Feb 12 City
Council meeting, but I see that I only have 15 minutes left to request a place on the
agenda. The necessary form is not opening on the City's website; neither is the online
request. I am writing from Virginia College, Savannah Mall, where I'll be until 8pm. I
hope you'll allow me to request a hearing with this message. I'll be glad to fill out the
form and bring it to City Hall when I am back on Tybee tomorrow, Feb 5.
