The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in its office in the City Hall in said City, Friday, August 29, 1952, at the hour of 8:00 ofclock A.M. (cst) ® Mr, Coleman presiding with the following members being present: Mr. Hodgin. Mr. Haworth being absent. The following business was had, to-wit: On motion duly made seconded and carried the minutes of• the previous meeting were dispensed with. Mr. Burlison reported that the walk-way on the iron- bridge in Happy Hollow was ready for use. Mr. Hodgin reported that several contractors were interested in bidding on the Bealview Sewer, Bids will be received later due to the absence of the City Attorney. The Board authorized the Clerk to notify the Kutter" s Super Market re- questing them to repair the fence near the Hose house on North "A" Street. Captain Juerling recommended the installation of Llway stop signs at the following intersections, North 15th and "C" Streets; North 16th and "C" Streets, S.W. 16th and "A" Streets; N.W. 2nd and Radolph Streets and N.W. 3rd and Randolph Streets, The Board approved the recommendations and o ordered the signs to be installed. The Clerk presented proofs :of publication printed -in the Richmond Palla- diurn=Item a newspaper-of'general 'circulation in the City of Richmond, Indiana, that a public hearing would be held on Improvement Resolution No. 959-1952. These proofs were received and ordered filed. A remonstrance was filed on Improvement Resolution No. 959-1952 and on motion made seconded and carried Improvement Resolution No. 959-1952 was taken under advisement.
