The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
.met in regular session in its office in the City Hall in said City, Fri-
day, July 25, 1952, at the hour of 8: 00 o' clock A.M. (cst) . Mr. Coleman
presiding with the following members being present: Mr. Hodgin and Mr.
•aworth. The following business was had, to-wit:
On motion duly made, seconded and carried the minutes of the previous
meeting were dispensed with.
The Clerk was instructed to contact the light plant and instruct them to
install street lighting on S.W. 19th Street from.National Road to Western
Drive.
A petition for a concrete alley between South 13th and South 14th Streets
was referred to the City Engineer for preparation of an Improvement
Resolution.
The bid of. the Roland Swisher Company to make repair on the City Hall
roof in the sum of n358. 00 was accepted.
The Clerk was instructed to contact the State Highway Commission and re-
quest that the holes on South 5th and "G" Streets be repaired.

The Clerk presented proofs of publication that bids would be received
on this date at the hour of 9:00 o' clock A.M. ( cst) , The proofs were
ordered filed. The following bids were received and read aloud.

seat covers, back panel covers, door covers, spare

The appraisers value waE shown to be in the sum of725. 0o for 1950
Chevrolet Coach.
The above bids were referred to the Police Chief and City Engineer to
tabulate and recommend-.
The Clerk presented proofs of publication that a public hearing would be
held. on Improvement Resolution No. 956-1952, The proofs were ordered filed
No remonstrances were filed or presented. The Board now confirms Improve-
ment Resolution No. 956-1952, as adopted.
The Board allowed the claims in the amount of 8 28, 029. 42.

There being no further business presented on motion duly made, seconded
and carried the meeting adjourned.
