SAFETY, RICHMOtD, INDIANA, JUNE 13, 1952.
The Board, of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
met in regular session in its office in the City Hall in said City, Fri-
day, June 13, 1952, at the hour. of 8:00 A.M. (c. s. t. ) . Mr. Coleman pre-
siding with the following members being present: Mr. Hodgin and Mr. Haw-
orth. The following business was had, to-wit:
On motion duly made, seconded and carried the minutes of the previous
meeting were dispensed with.
Mr. Snavely, Weights and Measurers Inspector gave a report on the recent
check his department made on the measuring devices used by distributors
of gasoline, oil, fuel oil and kerosene.
On recommendation of the Chief of Police Richard Yoder was appointed as
probationary policeman as of June 16, 1952.
The Board approved the bids submitted by Henry Rodenberg to do the work
as provided in Improvement Resolutions Nos. 950 and 951-1952.
The Board allowed the claims in the sum of 29, 670. 18.
There being no further business presented on motion duly made, seconded
and carried the meeting adjourned.
