1. Can you provide some more specificity in your fee structure?You mention two employees who will assigned but
the fee is $50/hour for two full days (which we assume are 8 hour days). Would there be additional fees for site
plan reviews, plan reviews, etc.that take place outside of those two days?These can be performed remotely at
the $50 hourly rate thru FedEx or EPlan Solutions, and independent provider of electronic plan review. (see
attachment)
2. Which employee would actually be coming to Tybee Island? Mike Holloman
3. The services you mentioned also include attendance at staff meetings and presentations to the Planning
Commission.This is boiler plate language and may not be applicable, if those meeting coincide with the days he
is there he can definitely attend,there may also be some flexible in the days, if the meetings are held Monday
nights for example the day could be staggered to include the meeting in lieu of inspections or office hours. We
will work with you to develop a plan to optimize coverage.
4. Would those be additional hourly services?We commit to work with Tybee Island to provide coverage of as
many contingences as possible at the $50 per hour rate
5. Ideally we need to know what the total weekly cost would be for all services. The cost can vary depending on
activity and is only a guesstimate at best.
6. Is your Inspector and/or CBP a Certified Floodplain Manager(CFM) and do your services include FEMA
inspections and approvals? Mike Holliman is not a CBO/P? nor CFM but when those services are required the
CBO will be Wade Greene and the CFM requirements would be performed by our 3 CFMs in South Carolina, see
attached South Carolina resume (Roni Abdella/Bruce Spicher/Bruce Skipper). We additionally can perform CRS
audits as well. (Florida example attached)
7. do your services include FEMA inspections and approvals? Our disaster response services do/can include FEMA
inspections and approvals, we have performed these services in Georgia (Powder Springs and Colorado (see
examples)
8. The contract terms are 3 years, but this is supposed to be a temporary service. Can the contract be for 60 days
and then monthly thereafter?Once again the three year language is boiler plate we can do a 60 day contract to
get familiar with activity levels and jointly develop a long term strategy that works for Tybee Island.
