CITY OF TYBEE ISLAND
RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the City of Tybee Island is scheduled to hold a municipal election
on Tuesday, November 3, 2015; and
WHEREAS, for the past thirty-years the City has contracted with the Board of
Elections of Chatham County to superintend all municipal elections held
within this City; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the elected officials of the City of Tybee Island
that the Chatham County Election Board has performed these duties in a
superior manner, giving excellent, impartial service to the citizen of Tybee
Island;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by Mayor and Council of the City of
Tybee Island in open meeting assembled, that the Board of Elections of
Chatham County be invited to superintend the City's upcoming election and
that the Board also supervise the preparations for said election to be held on
Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
