On. motion made, seconded and carried, the minutes 'of the previuos meet- ing were dispensed with. The Board meets to receive and open sealed proposals for the purchase of . a 750 GPM. motorized fire apparatus for the Fire Dept-. The following bids were -received and opened: - MIDWEST FIRE AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT CO. INC. 1- Model No. 2357. Maxim, CustorT-Built. triple_ combination 750 GPM motorized fire apparatus, with pump and accessories as per. the attached specifications. . . , . . . a , . . . . oac . . . ... . . . . .$ 18, 895. 92. - Bid Bond in the sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars ( 20, 000) accompanied this proposal. FLESCH-MILLER TRACTOR COMPANY. 1- FWD Model F75T Triple. Combination. Pumper. per. attached. specifications . 16,i36.00 Bid Bond' 5n the sum of Seventeen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($17,500.00) accompanied this proposal. The above bids were referred to the Fire Chief, Roy Hardy and the City Engineer for their study and recommendations. . The Board approved the request of the Street Commissioner to purchase a Water Pump for the Street .Dept. Stop signs were ordered in at the intersection of South 8th and "G" Streets and N.W. "N" and Ridge Street. The requests for these signs were made by Councilmen Marino and Baldwin. The Fire Chief recommended that the bid of the Midwest Fire and Safety Equip- ment Co. , Inc. be accepted for fuirnishing a 750 GPM motorized pumper for the . Fire Dept. On motion made, seconded and • carried, the recommendation of the Fire Chief was accepted for the purchase of the ?50 GPM Pumper for the Fire. Dept.
