The above bids were referred to the Fire Chief, Roy Hardy and the City Engineer for their study and recommendations. . The Board approved the request of the Street Commissioner to purchase a Water Pump for the Street .Dept. Stop signs were ordered in at the intersection of South 8th and "G" Streets and N.W. "N" and Ridge Street. The requests for these signs were made by Councilmen Marino and Baldwin. The Fire Chief recommended that the bid of the Midwest Fire and Safety Equip- ment Co. , Inc. be accepted for fuirnishing a 750 GPM motorized pumper for the . Fire Dept. On motion made, seconded and • carried, the recommendation of the Fire Chief was accepted for the purchase of the ?50 GPM Pumper for the Fire. Dept.
