HomeMy Public PortalAboutr 17-073Psolution of t4P 1-3 oroug4 of & rttrlet, C N� - No. 1773 Date of Adoption dly 4, X717 I, AWARDING BID FOR 1 2017 CLEANING SERVICES WHEREAS, the Borough has publicly advertised for the receipt of bids for the 2017 Cleaning Services for the six (6) Municipal Buildings; and i WHEREAS, the Borough has solicited and received four (4) bid proposals for the 2017 Cleaning Services as follows: Total Bid I. Best Building Maintenance Corp. $ 46.915.00 i 2. PJ Cleaning, LLC $ 37.810.00 3. Bailey's Square Janitorial Services $ 41.435.00 4. All Clean Building Services $ 56.210.00 WHEREAS, PJ Cleaning, LLC has submitted the lowest bid for said contract as evidenced by the response on file with the Borough's Purchasing Department and with the Borough Engineer; and WHEREAS, the Borough Engineer has reviewed the above bid proposals and has recommended the award of a contract to PJ Cleaning, LLC, in a total amount not to exceed $37,810.00, per attached award letter; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available for said purpose. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret as follows: 1. That the appropriate Borough Officials are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with PJ Cleaning, LLC, of Upper Saddle River, N.J. for cleaning services as described above for the sum of $37,810.00 in accordance in all respects with the request for proposals and bid on same. 2. That a copy of this Resolution shall be forwarded to the Borough's Purchasing Department, Borough Engineer and Building Maintenance Supervisor. 3. That the aforementioned award of bid is contingent upon formal approval from the New Jersey Department of Labor, Division of Wage and Hour Compliance.
