LANDS TO THE CITY OF IONA, IDAHO;
DESCRIBING THESE LANDS; REQUIRING
THE FILING OF THE ORDINANCE AND
AMENDED CITY MAP AND AMENDED
LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF THE CITY WITH
THE APPROPRIATE COUNTY AND STATE
AUTHORITIES; AND ESTABLISHING
EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, the land described in Exhibit A attached hereto is contiguous
and adjacent to the City of Iona and is subject to annexation to the City of Iona pursuant
to the provisions of Section 50-222, Idaho Code, as amended; and,
WHEREAS, it appears to the Mayor and City Council that this land should
be annexed to, and become a part of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IONA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The land described in Exhibit A attached hereto is hereby
annexed to the City of Iona.
Section 2. The City Clerk shall file a certified copy of this Ordinance
with the Bonneville County Auditor, Treasurer and Assessor within ten (10) days after
the effective date hereof. The City Engineer shall, within ten (10) days after the effective
date, file an amended legal description and map of the City, with the Bonneville County
Recorder and Assessor and the Idaho State Tax Commission, all in accordance with
Idaho Code Section 63-2215.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage, execution
and publication in the manner provided by law.

entitled, "AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF
IONA, IDAHO; DESCRIBING THESE LANDS; REQUIRING THE FILING OF THE
ORDINANCE AND AMENDED CITY MAP AND AMENDED LEGAL

EXHIBIT "A"
The North 200 feet of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 1, Township 2 North, Range 38 East of the Boise Meridian,
Bonneville County, Idaho. LESS the following four tracts:
TRACT NO. 1: Commencing at the Northeast corner of the Northeast quarter
of the Southwest quarter of Section 1, Township 2 North, Range 38 East of the
Boise Meridian, Bonneville County, Idaho; thence West 120 feet; thence South
400 feet; thence East 120; thence North 400 feet to the point of beginning.
TRACT NO. 2: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Northeast quarter
of the Southwest quarter of Section 1, Township 2 North, Range 38 East of the
Boise Meridian, Bonneville County, Idaho; thence South 355 feet; thence
Northeast 590 feet, thence West 462 feet to the point of beginning.
TRACT NO. 3: Commencing at a point 120 feet West of the Northeast corner
of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 1, Township 2
North of Range 38, East of the Boise Meridian, Bonneville County, Idaho;
thence West 120 feet; thence South 400 feet; thence East 120 feet; thence
North 400 feet to the point of beginning.
TRACT NO.4: Beginning at a point that is North 89° 15'58" East 2142.65 feet
along the center line of Rushton Road, from the West quarter corner of Section
1, Township 2 North, Range 38, East of the Boise Meridian, and running
thence North 89° 15'58" East 234.21 feet along said center line; thence South
0°09'56" East 406.54 feet; thence South 89°29° 13" West 294.66 feet; thence
North 8° 18' 16" East 410.48 feet to the point of beginning.
