PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION
WIiEREAS, The following property listed below
applied for Tax-Exempt status under the previsions
for a total disabled vekeran status in accordance
with N.J.S.A. 54:4-3.30 et seq., and
WItEREAS, Tile Tax Assessor reviewed and approved
the application for the 1998 and 1999 tax year, and
WHEREAS, The Tax Collector is recommending that
taxes for 1998 and 1999 be cancelled accordingly. The
Borough of Carteret also must reimburse the taxes -
paid since this veteran became 1OO % disabled' (February
1st, 1998) and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED By the Mayor and
Council of the Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex,
State of New Jersey, ~hat the Tax Collector cancel the
1998 and 1999 taxes in accordance with the following
schedule.
