(cst) Mr. H.G. Coleman presiding with the following member being present: Mr. Clifford M. Haworth. Mr. Wm.E. Ross being absent. The following proceedings were had, to-wit: On motion made, seconded and carried, the minutes of the pre- vious meeting were dispensed' with. Mr. Norm Trittschuh, Manager of the Richmond Auto Supply Company South Ninth Street, request of using a speaker during an anivers- ary party .for said company was approved. The speaker to be used in a mild tone. The Clerk presented proofs of publication for the receiving of sealed proposals for a truck for the Street Dept. The proofs - were ordered filed. The proposals were referred to the City Engineer and the Street Commissioner for their study and recommendations. I/ On recommendation of- the Fire Chief, the Board approved the installation of a fire hydrant at the intersection. ofHenly Road. and Park Avenue for fire protection in said area. The request of the S.& S. Garage to move trees from the . corner of West 15th Street and National Road to. construct sidewalks and curbs was approved. On recommendation of the Chief of Police, the Board approved the appoijtment of Wilson A. Spicer as probationary patrolman as of May 16, 1950.
