AND SAFETY, RICHMOND, INDIANA,
FRIDAY, MARCH 17, 1950.
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met
in regular session in its office in the City Hall in said City, Friday,
March 17, 1950, at 9:00 a.m. Mr. Harold -G. Coleman presiding with the fol-
lowing members being present: Mr. Wm. Edwin Ross and Mr. Clifford M. Haworth.
The following proceedings were had, to-wit:
The minutes of the previuos meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Adams, Mgr. of the local Indiana Railroad Company, gave the following
report of the bus service for school children and the second shift at the
Crosley Plant:

Throughout out this period all busses have waited at Crosley until 12:15
Midnight and have not had any passengers to come out of Plant after 12:10.
All afternoon loads have been found to be very reasonable and that we were
able to accommodate all patrons.
Park Supt. , Lee Ridgeway complained of horse back riders-of riding off the
roads through the Glen Park and tearing up the sod. Warning will be given
to all riders to stop this practise.
The Board consented to the request of the Fire •& Police Depts. of using the
aerial on the City Hall for a telivision set to be purchased by the men of
the two depts.
Chief of Police advised the Board that Mr, Beck, Manager of M.E.L. & P.P.
would make a study to see if the traffic lights could be changed for fire
runs.
The Board allowed cliams in the amount of $27,167.32
There being no further business presented, on motion duly made, seconded an
carried the meeting adjourned.
