The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in its office in the City Halllin said City, Friday, January 27, 1950, at 9:00 o°clock a.m. Mr. H.G. Coleman presiding with the following members heing present: Mr. Wm. Edwin Ross and Mr. Clifford M. Haworth. The following proceedings were had, to-wit: - On motion duly made, seconded and carried unanimoulsy, the minutes of the previous meeting were dispensed with.- The Board authorized the Clerk to prepared the Resolution for presentation to the Common Council for the appointment of appraisers to ap_:raise one (1) Chevrolet two door sedan, used by the Police ept. The Clerk was authorized to prepare the the advertisement to receive sealed proposals forvone(1) new car for the Polite Dept. The Board authorized the Clerk to prepare the advertisement for receiving sealed proposals for the purchase and installation of separate heat controls for the City Hall. - The Board a.oproved the following curb cuts: 31S North Sth Street and 20th and South E. Street as requested by Mr. Carl J. White. The Board confirmed the following notice that was signed by all Board members, Wednesday, January 25, 1950: NOTICE TO CORPORATION COUNSEL To: Clifford M. Haworth, Corporation Counsel, City of Richmond, Indiana. The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, herebycertifies that in the proceedings under Declaratory Resolutions adopted on March 254, 1949, May 6, 1949, and December 27, 1949, for the construction of a grade seParation at the point where the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway Company track crosses and intersects with North D Street, the change of grade of North D Street and North 3rd Street, all in the City of Richmond, one Sam Goodson has an interest in Lot #59 in Jesse Iden°s Second Addition to said City, and known and designated as 424 North jrd Street in said City, which said lot will be affected by said pro- ceedings, and that said Sam Goodson is a person of unsound mind.
