DECEMB'ER 30, 1949.
The Board of Public Works and Safety-of the City of Richmond, Indiana met in
regular session in its office ig the City Hall in said City, Friday, December
30, 1949, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Mr. Harold G. Coleman presiding with the fol-
lowing members being present: Mr. W.E. Ross and Mr. C.M. Haworth. The follow-
ing ')roceedings were had, to-wit.
On motion duly made, seconded and carried unanimously, the minutes of the pre-
voiis meetin were dispensed with..
By unanimous vote Mr. Coleman was re-elected Chairman of the Board for the
year 1950.
On receomendation of the Fire Chief, the Board promoted Roy-Hardy from Captain
to that of Assisant Chief, Rollf Wadman from Fireman to that of Captain, as of
January 1, 1950. -
On reccomendation of the Chief of Police, the Board approved the advancement of
Clarence Foreman from Probationary Patrolman to that of regular Patrolman as
of January 1, 1950.
