Keisker moved that r..;....,.&.-A.L;ryan be promoted from Lieutenant to Captain at the -2k) 4 hose house as of November 10, 1947, and ' Harlan Liroi-n 'ee promoted from regular Fireman to Lieutenant at the No. 3 Hose House . Lr. Hodgin seconded it an,: it was so ordered. Councilman hussell requested a street light en- the alley between C and L Streets , between 7th1and Oth Streets . This matter was referred to the Traffic Division. A letter was received from Crosley recuestin-,: flasher 1f7,hts at the Penn. R. R . '..mdWilliamsburg Pike . This matter vas referred to the City Attorney and the City Engineer. A letter was received from L. H. Gilcrest requesting a traffic light be placed at 3rd and Main Streets . This vas referred to t-e City Attorney to be taken up with John Lauer, head of the State Highway Comrlission . 11...96,141 r . Keiskor moved and Lr.Aseconded that the Clerk of the Board be instructed to notify the light plant to install street lights at the intersections of S . W. 15th Street at D, ii, F, and _halfway between National Road West, and D Street . It was so ordered. A letter was received from F. I . Braffett requesting a Traffic light on North A and 12-L1 Streets . This matter was I, referred to the Traffic Division. Lir. Keisker moved that t_e Vivian Buick Co . be given permis th v sion to tap into e seer inrRavinia Park setting the fee for ' tapping at ,415 .00 . hr. Hodgin seconded it and it was so ordered. A petition was received from Mrs . J. H. ('.uinlivan requesting permission to cut the curb at 402 South 16th Street . Permission was granted. -. After allowing claims in the amount of ',.?
