FRIDAY, OC T OBER 31, 1947 .
The Board of Public Yorks and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in regular session in the office of the Board, Friday,
October 31, 1947, at 9 a. m. Messrs . Earl Keisker, S . ` . Hodgin
and VEinfield Urban being present, , the following proceedings were
had to wit:
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.
Upon the recommendation of Police chief Duckett, Mr.. Hodgin
moved and Er. Keisker seconded that parking be restricted for one
hour on the South side of North E from 15th West to the first
driveway. It. was so ordered.
Mr . Ilodgin moved and Mr . ::esker seconded that the Cle z: of
the Board be instructed to notify the Light Plant to install a street
light on Park Place between llth Street and the first alley. It
was so ordered. -
Mr. Tomas , representing the Cooperative Club, appeared before
the Board requesting permission to place on the sidewalks at the
curb at Main Street intersections the following copy "Walk ; ith Green
Light, courtesy Cooperative Club" . Mr. Keisker moved that permission
be granted them to place such signs under the direction of the
City Engineer. Mr . Hodgin seconded it and it was so ordered.
After allowing claims in the amount of 5 4,B5B .07, upon proper
motion the Board adjourned.
