CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
FRIDAY, MAY 2, 1947
The board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in regular session in the office of the board,
Friday, May 2, 1947, at 9 A. M. Messrs . Earl Keisker-, S . W.
Hodgin, and Winfield Urban being present the following pro-
ceedings were had to wit:
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and amended.
The report of the inspection of the Underwriters Service
Association was received and distributed to the various department
heads and the Fire Chief was instructed to advise the various depart-
ment heads what parts of the report he felt necessary to compile
with at once . Upon discussion with the department heads and Fire
Chief, it was learned that practically all -the suggestions had been
taken care of since the inspection in January.
Mr. Keisker. moved that the Declaratory Resolution No. 5,
1947, be confirmed, there being no remonstrators present. They
having agreed to pay any and all expenses in connection with the
closing of the alley, no role for benefits and damages was prepared.
Mr. Hodgin seconded it and it was so ordered.
After allowing claims in the amount of $ 7 29Y- f / , upon
proper motion the Board adjourned.
