A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING AN APPROPRATION OF $6,680 TO COVER TRAFFIC CONTROL
RELATED COSTS FOR THE "EVERY 15 MINUTES" EMERGENCY EXERCISE
WHEREAS, on April 1, 2014, the City Council approved the partial street closure
from 9:00am to 1:00pm on April 22, 2014 for the "Every 15 Minutes" emergency
exercise; and
WHEREAS, the event stated above will require street closure of the eastbound
lanes on Imperial Highway from approximately Standard Avenue to Pine Street from
9:00am to 1:00pm; and
WHEREAS, the street closure on April 22, 2014 requires proper traffic control;
and
WHEREAS, although staff included the cost in the staff report presented to City
Council at the April 1, 2014 City Council meeting, it was unclear whether Council
approved the appropriation.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the appropriation of $6,680 from the
unappropriated Contingency Fund to Traffic Signal Division.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of April, 2014.
