FRIDAY, MARCH 28, 1947
The Board of Public Forks and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in regular session in the office of the Board, Friday,
March 28, 1947, at 9 A. M. Messrs . S . ti' , Hodgin , and V:infield
Urban being present the following proceedings were had to wit:
the minutes of the .preceding, meeting were read and approved.
The petition signed by Ed Whitaker and others requesting; a sewer
in the vicinity of South M Street was referred to the City Engi-
neer.
The request of thm. Henry Eavey, Jr. for restricte.d parking
in front of his business on the east side of Fort Wayne Avenue
between D and' L k was referred to the Traffic Department .
Mr. Ross harrington appeared before the Board with the
requesting.-:tha.t,the rst alleTnorth.'of 'North A Street between
North 7th 8th Sts . be vacated.; the property on both sides of
which is now owned by St . Lary' s church. A declaratory
resolution on the same was ordered .12—e.dn by the City Engineer.

Upon the recommendation of the Police chief, the Board
ordered one hour parking on the East side on North 8th St . from
Llr'L South to D.
On proper motion tle Board ordered the advertisement for bids
for the construction of a club house to be erected at the
7.,_uni ci oal Ball Park.
After alloying claims in the amount of :�386 .52, upon
proper motion the Board adjourned.
