FRIDAY, MARCH 21, 1947
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the office of
the Board, Friday, March 21, 1947, at 9 A . M. Messrs . S. h .
Hodgin, and Winfield Urban' being present the following pro-
ceedings were had to wit:
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and
approved.
Councilman Brehm' s recommendation that the matter of
furnishing bus service for residents in the south part of the
city such as South 5th Street west to the Liberty pike be
reconsidered, was called to the attention of Mr. Alyea,
manager of the. Indiana Railroad.
Councilman Harris ' s request for a light to be installed
at South 16th & G Streets was referred to the City Engineer,
Mr. Stevens , & the Chief of Police .
Councilman Marino' s complaint from citizens on Sheridan
Street about paper & trash blowing from Street Department
Trucks on their way to the dump, causing considerable litter
on the street was referred to the Street Commissioner for
attention.
After alloying claims in the amount of 91`�' s', upon '
proper motion the Board adjourned.
