AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS
FOR " CARTERET PARK
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11 -12a and N.J.A. C. 5:34- 7.29(c), may by
resolution and without advertising for bids, purchase any goods or services under the State of New Jersey
Cooperative Purchasing Program for any State contracts entered into on behalf of the State by the Division
of Purchase and Property in the Department of the Treasury; and
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret has a need to purchase musical instruments for the Carteret Park
Playground utilizing the New Jersey State Cooperative Purchasing Program, for General Recreation Inc.,
award T0103 16 Fleet 00130 in the amount of $42,670.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has determined that sufficient funds are available and a purchase
order will be processed with account 7- 01 -28- 370 -299.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Borough of Carteret authorizes the purchase of musical
instruments for the Parks Department from General Recreation Inc. award T0103 16 -Fleet 00130, address
in the amount of $42,670.00.
