FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13, 1946
The Bca rd., of. Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond
Indiana, met in regular session in the office of the Board Friday,
December 13, 1946 at 9 A. M. Messrs . Earl Keisk`r, S. W. Hodgin,
and Winfield Urban being present the .following proceedings were
had to wit: I/
The minutes of the preced=_ug meeting were read and approved.
Upon the recommendation of Fire Chief Williams Mr. Keisker moved
that Chief Williams place at his discretion two fire hydrants on
North West Fifth Street. in the vicinity of the Farm Bureau.
Mr. Urban moved that the proposal presented to the Board by the
Texas Co. for furnishing gasoline for the coning. six months be received
and taken under consideration until ne -t Friday. Mr. ei sk-r second-
ed the motion and it was so ordered.
At 9:30, the time . set as p r advertise lent to receive bids for
a two-way radio set for the Fire Department per plans and specifications
on file in the office of the City Engineer the only bid received was
opened. lair. Urban moved upon the recommendat'on of Fire Chief Williams
the bid of the Link Company be accep ed if there are fund available, ( f i
delivery and payment to be made after January 1, 1947. Mr. Keisker
seconded the moti _)n and it was so ordered.
After allowing claims in the amount of 19, 1 r3.00, upon proper
motion the Board adjourned.
