M. Messrs . 4' infield Urban, Earl Keisksr and S . W. Hods-in being present, the following roceedings were had to wi t : The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and arrroved. Uuon the recommendation of the Chief ofPolice Duckett, Mr. MTeisker moved thet Jolt: Sperling be appointed as a probationary radio operator as of December 1, 1946 with a salary of ;r185 per month. Mr . Urban seconded the motion and it was so ordered. Upon the recommendation of the Chief of Police Duckett, Mr. Urban moved and Mr. Keisk .r seconded a motion that Maurice L. Wise oe installed as probationary patrolman as of December 1, 1J4S . It was so or dared. Mr. Keisker moved that the Clerk of the Baird advertise for bias for a two way radio set for the Fire Department, eur- suant to specifications on file t.with the Chief of the Fire DeT,ar•t- ment, delivery and payment to be made after Jar: .wry 1, Bids will be received on December 13, 19 C . Mr. Urban seconded this motion and it ,was so ordered. A 'request has been received from Richmond Homes Inc . for permission to extend the water line in South West 15th Street from D Street to a point south of B Street. This matter vas referred to the Fire Chief, City Bngineer and i,he .C; ter Co.
