AND SAFETY, CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 1946
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in regular session in the office of the Board Friday,
September 6, 1946 at 9:00 A. M. Messrs . Earl Keisker,I/ l`infield
Urban, and S. W. Hodgin being present, the following proceedings
were had to wit
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.
A request was received from Mr. Lamn of 214 Southwest 2nd
Street seeking permission to chop down a tree that is on his
lawn. The Board granted this permission with the s tipulation
that he take proper precautions to see that the street is barricaded.
The Board ordered the curb painted yellow for two car lengths
west of the alley on the south side of the street on South A Street
between South 7th and South 8th streets and on the same street and
at the same location the curb to be painted yellow one car length
west of the alley on the north side of the street.
After allowing claims in the amount of .4i519,435.13, upon
proper motion, the Board adjourned.
