OFFICE OF. THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS
AND SAFETY CITY OF .RICHMOND, INDIANA,
FRIDAY, JULY 5, 1946
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richwiond,
Indiana, met in regular session in. the office of the Board
Friday, July 5, 1946 at 9:00 A. M. Messrs . S. V . Hodgins , and
Winfield Urban being present the following proceedings were
had to wit:
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.
A motion was made by Mr. Urban that the resignation of
Ramsey MacDonald as maintenance man in the Police Department
be accepted as of June 30. It was seconded by Mr. Hodgin and
so ordered. The appointment of Mr. Lawrence Howe to succeed
Mr. MacDonald had been previously approved.
A report from Mr. Earl Beck of the Municipal Electric
Light and Power Co. concerning the matter of midnight and
all night lighting in certain sections of the city was read
by the President of the Board® , The matter will be taken
under advisement.
After. allowing claims in the amount of 760'Y•2.3, upon
proper motion, the Board adjourned.
