OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS
AND SAFETY CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA
FRIDAY, JUNE 28, 1946
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, met in regular session in the office of the Board
Friday, June 28, 1946 at 9:00 o' clock A. M. Messrs . Earl Keisker,
S. W. Hodgin, and Winfield Urban being present the following

proceedings were had to wit:
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Keisker moved and Mr. Urban seconded that the Clerk of
the Board be instructed to notify; the Municipal Electric. Light
and Power Co. to install a light halfway.. between Peacock Road
and Northwest B Street. It was so ordered.
Upon recommendation of Chief of Police Duckett Mr. Keisker
moved and Mr. Urban seconded that Lawrence Howebe. appointed
Chief Operator at. the Police Radio Station at the salary pres-
cribed for that position. It was so .ordered.
Upon recommendation of the Chief .of. the Fire Department Williams
Mr. Keisker moved and Mr. Urban seconded that . the;: Water Company be
authorized‘to install a fire hydrant upon, the Southeast corner of
South 13 and M and another fire..hydrant l.be placed on South 14
between M and 0. It was so ordered.
After allowing claims in the amount ofp12,518.32, upon
proper motion, the Bord adjourned"
