Messrs . Earl Keisker, S . W. Hodgin , and Winfield Urban being present the following proceedings I/ were had to wit: The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and a :uroved. Jack Payne , contractor, appeared before the Board and was given permission to run a water line 150 feet between the sidewalk and curb into 1905 North A Sti et with the understanding that he restore the area affected to its original condition. Fire Chief Leslie, Williams and Edwin Ross , Sewage Disposal Plant Superintendent, secured permission from Board to dispose of scrap and junk at No. 3 Hose House to the Same Jaffe Company wursuant to the said company' s bid. A complaint was received to the effect that on Southwest A Street west of L:asthaven Avenue the Gas Company has left a ridge in the street, there is building material stored in the street that is not marked by lanterns at night and the street is full of holes . This was referred to the Street Commissioner. Attention of Board was called to the condition of the street on Southwest 17th Street . T,"lis was referred to the Street Commissioner. Councilman Homan recommends the installation of a stop light at 13th and Main Street. This matter was referred to the City Engineer and the Chief of the Traffic Commission. Councilman Marino recommends that the street be ,treated running past M BallPark from Main Street to Peacock . Road. This t the Municipal 1 �.. matter was referred to the Street Department. Mr. Albright complained to the Board of a depression in front of an inlet at Fort Layne Avenue . This matter was referred to the Street Commissioner. A letter was received from the American Legion offering the services of the Legion Band to the City and the Glenn =ler Park for at least six concerts during the summer season for which they are to be paid 52:0. This matter was referred to the Park Board. ' - A request vas received in the form of a petition signed by nine residents in the 200 block on Northwest 17 Street asking for the installation of an overhead street light . This matter was referred to the City Engineer and the Traffic Division. A petition was received signed by nine property ovmers on Northwest 15 Street for the constr .ction of an alley twelve feet wide between ilort_iwest B and brain Street east of "i orthwest 15 Street . 11,,is matter was referred to the City Engineer and the Street Commissioner . 103 After allowing claims in the amount of yi; ,3, /96 y 6 , upon proper motion the ..Board adjourned. rresident Attest: Secretary
