OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS
AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF RICHM0ND,
INDIANA, FRIDAY MAY 31st, 1946.
I/ The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond
Indiana met in the regular office of the Board Friday at 9 A.M. May
31st, 1946. Present were Messrs . S.W.Hodgin, Winfield Urban and Earl
Ke isker•.
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
Geo. Scantland appeared before the Board seeking permission to
extend a sewer on School Street and to tap into the same in order to
get sewage fT3mvflmzxmakan service for Dr. Decker. The Board took the
same under consideration.
The Park Supt . was ordered to get proposals for the painting of the
Club House at the Park ( Glen Miller )
Dr. A.J.Whallon of 29 S/ 10th Street petitioned for permission
to establish an additional restricted parking zone in fron of his
office at the same address .
The Wayne County Rural Electric Membership Corp. was granted
permission to establish a 15 minute parking zone in front of 17 -19 S . 10th
No bid having been received at 9:30 A.M. that being the time so
advertised for a police car the Board instructed the Chief of Police
to snmvey the open market and report back to the Board.
After allowing claims in the amount of A° d ‘3. .?.7
upon proper motion the Board adjourned\again well pleased with i_to s
work.
