HomeMy Public PortalAbout05-24-1946 96 OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA FRIDAY MAY 24th, 1946 The Board of Public Works and safety of the City of Richmond, I/ Indiana met in regular session in the Office of the Board, Friday May 24th, 1946 at 9 A.M. Present were Messrs . S.W.Hodgin, Winfield Urban and Earl Keisker. The following proceedings were had to-wit: The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. The matter of the water-fountain along side the Library was referred back to the Library Board. The matter of the removal of the temporary structure in front of the location of the new Veach Store was referred to the City Engineer, Building Inspector and Street Commissioner for further report. The question of having a Building Code Book as applies to the City of Richmond made available for those seeking a copy thereof was referred to the Building Inspector. The matter of a police patrol along Sheridan Street to stop speeding was referred to the traffic division. The matter of the complaint of Miller Bros . concerning the flooding of their cellar was referred to City Engineer, Street Commissioner and the City Attorney.
