AND SAFETY CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA,
FRIDAY, MAY 3, 1946
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond,
Inftana, met in regular session in the office of the Board Friday,
May 3, 1946, at 9:15 A .M. Present were Messrs . S . W. Hodgin, Earl
Keisker and Winfield Urban: the following proceedings were had to
wit:
The minutes of the preceding meeting were read and approved.
Stanley C . Smith, Building Inspector, appeared before the
Board in regard to painting the interior of the City Building.
The matter vas submitted to a committee composed of Mr. Keisker,
Mr. Hodgin and Mr. Urban for further discussion .
A petition was received, signed by seven taxpayers , requesting
an estimate for a sanitary sewer on Northwest 5th and east to the
Pennsylvania Railroad from Northwest J to the north terminal of the
Griswold Addition and to Northwest L. A remonstrance , signed by
nine taxpayers, was received against the above petition. The matter
was referred to the City Engineer, the Street Commissioner and the
Superintendent of the Sewage Disposal Plant for further recommenda -
tion.
After allowinn; claims in the amount of $710.51, upon proper
motion, the Board adjourned.
