AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF A PAYLOADER FOR THE
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11 -12a and N.J.A.C.
5:34- 7.29(c), may by resolution and without advertising for bids, purchase any goods or
services under the State of New Jersey Cooperative Purchasing Program for contracts
I entered into on behalf of the Middlesex Regional Education Services Co -op; and
WHEREAS. the Borough of Carteret has the need to purchase a payloader for the
Department of Public Works utilizing the Middlesex Regional Education Services Co -op,
from Jesco, South Plainfield NJ 07080, 15/16 -08 Grounds Equipment in the amount of
$126,647.41; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has determined that sufficient funds are
available and a purchase order will be processed accordingly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Borough of Carteret authorizes the
purchase of a payloader for the Department of Public Works from Jesco, 118 Saint
Nicholas Avenue, South Plainfield NJ 07080 in the amount of $126,647.41.
